Safeguarding

Northwold Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and values the vital contribution all Governors and staff make to safeguarding children.

We are committed to safer recruitment and carry out enhanced DBS and List 99 checks before issuing a start date. We strive to make sure that every student in our school feels secure, well cared for, and is supported to reach their full potential.

We will ensure all our staff, other professionals, parents and students work together to know the rules about keeping children safe. They understand the importance of following procedures and listening to each other, especially when there are concerns about safety.

The Academy actively strives to reduce all the kinds of harm that children can suffer, including abuse, bullying, discrimination and avoidable injuries.

If you have any concerns at all about the safety or welfare of a child or adult at the school please do not hesitate to contact us.
